Stomaria first sent a contingency to the Notting Hill Carnival in August 2008, where just 1 citizen of the Empire attended. Since that date, the Empire has attended most of the Carnivals, flying the Stomarian Notting Hill Carnival Flag on a plastic flag pole along the festivals procession. Stomaria uses the carnival as an opportunity to improve diplomatic relations.
