On January 18th 2012, Stomaria changed their official flag in protest of two proposed laws in the United States, Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), and the PROTECT IP Act (PIPA). Stomaria lead the charge along with websites like Wikipedia and the Free Software Foundation, blacking out their websites in protest.
